Through his love for music and film and its potential to inspire change, Don Carlos Mancha has worked creatively in the music industry for over 30 years and 14 years in the music video industry. Once the protégé of Earl Van Dyke and The Motown Brass who recorded on Soul Records.

Don lives in Detroit Michigan, where he works with independent artists as well as nationally known recording artists. Don currently is working with recording artist J. Anderson and Courtney Williams whom he has been working with for the last 30 years. Don produced J. Anderson first single "Whatever You Need" in 1990, another song called "All I Wanna Do", "Tender Lover" and many other songs followed through the years.

Don has also promoted concerts and did live shows with nationally known artists Alexander O'Neal and Cherrelle in 2011 at the Dearborn Performing Art Theater with Tony Amos, also recorded with and produced songs for Grammy award winning Keith Washington from 2009 to 2012, which he learned so much more about writing and producing songs.

Don worked with J. Anderson and K'jon on a concert that was held at the Charles Wright Museum November 1, 2015, which featured and talk about the Mixed Connective Tissue Disease and Chromes Disease. In 2017 Don worked with J. Anderson and K'Jon on a music video titled "Only One Way, Featuring K'Jon and also a video for J. Anderson hit single "I like It.

Don has also worked with vocalist Courtney Williams since 1999, which Don wrote and produced music and the lyrics. Don produced songs for Courtney titled Michelle, You and I, I’m your man, Perfect Gentleman and in 2020 released a Maxie single CD titled Gotta Let You Go. Don also directed and edited videos for Courtney Williams titled Michelle, and Turn to the next page.

In his spare time, Don enjoys spending time with his family and relaxing, also helping his son Don Carlos Mancha II develop his career in music and modeling, and working at the studio.
